Wearing a 100% Natural Deodorant product is important to me because I am concerned about HOW aluminium affects the body. Common perspective definition of deodorant :- Deodorant- a mindless application that is conducted at least once a day. We do it without thinking- regularly.
Body Conscious perspective definition of deodorant :- Deodorant- an important hygiene regime that needs to be of the best ingredients as I am applying it every day to my skin, right next to two major lymphatic areas of my body.

OK- so I am going to do a little maths relevant to both the definitions I have listed above:

Each person who applies deodorant every day, at least once a day, will roughly apply 12 litres of deodorant to your body over their lifetime. How much of that is aluminium based? Well, it could be as much as 25% or more. How much of that gets absorbed into your body through your skin?

Regulating body temperature

Have you ever stopped to think what one of your core body functions is? OK now do this for me. Hold your breath for about a minute. How did that feel? Now imagine having to hold your breath all day! 24 to 48 hours for some of our little sweat glands that cannot function correctly and allow the body to perspire because your sweat glands are blocked. So what happens to all that perspiration that is meant to cool you down? Where does it go? It has to travel around other parts of the body to be eliminated, along with the toxins. So extra effort is needed that could have been avoided if it was able to exit immediately through the armpit. Are you getting the picture?

So what about all those gym work outs, runs, cycling, yoga classes, tennis and other body raising temperature activities you do and your armpits can’t work effectively? More stress on your body to cool itself down…. I am hearing armpit emergency! Let the sweat out!

Even normal daily routine requires a certain amount of body breathing cooling activity. (Like your heart beating, you don’t even think about it.)

Armpit Toxicity

If our sweat cannot exit through the sweat glands of our armpits, what happens to that area behind your skin that you cannot see? If something is not working in the body, body stress is caused. Your sweat gland may be blocked. Sweat gland closed- out of order- sweat retreat!

I have spoken to many of my customers after they have started using my deodorants and it has taken them a couple of weeks for their armpits to detox. It is often an unpleasant experience for their noses as even the most natural of ingredients cannot get in the way of a detox avalanche that affronts them!

Salts are the answer

Fresca Natural deodorant contain NO aluminium. Nasties and environmental No No’s

Watch out for industrial minerals added to deodorant products. Many of these substances such as perlite, a natural volcanic mineral, contain 12-15% of aluminium oxide. Magnesium hydroxide, (also found in some deodorant products) may interfere with the body’s absorption of folic acid and iron if taken orally, however, no studies have been undertaken to ascertain whether this is also the case when magnesium hydroxide is absorbed by the skin.

For those of you that just want a deodorant without the fragrance, we have enriched this blend with high powered antioxidant vitamin E. This fat soluble vitamin, softens and rejuvenates the skin and helps to draw out trapped skin impurities.
